I'd be heartbroken if it happened to me. My only suggestion is to grow something like roses in your front garden. Maybe the thorns would be a deterrent, I can't weed round mine without ending up with gouges all up my arms so I look like I've been mauled by a tiger. I have bled, profusely, into the soil - maybe that's why my roses are always healthy - fertilser!

Do you remember the case of the retired accountant, last year, who was pinching plants from his neighbours' allotments? He was taken to court for it. You haven't any accountants living nearby, have you?
