On television at the weekend, there was an advert for a music CD called 'Spirit of 1977', full of punk rock anthems, and the tag line was why don't you but it for your Dad for Father's Day?
Thirty years ago Dads were punks.
What made me think was that thirty years before 1977, they would have been advertising 78's, featuring Vera Lynn, Gracie Fields and Arthur Askey dressed as a busy, busy bee.
How times have changed, and so quickly too.
