Thats been said already, though I think it is the obvious purpose really. They wont just be doing it for pregnant teens as they can be moved around from hostel to hostel because there are mother and baby/child ones and unfortunatly alot do end up doing that.
Yeh margaret aswell thats why I mentioned the noise of terraced houses. ours doesnt have the cavity thing ither and its just echoes everything through and my neighbours have dogs that bark all the time.
Luckily we're on a corner so its just noise from one side of neighbours though!
