I didn't go, mainly cause I'm a softy and don't like the rain.

Had a really good look at Kipax's photos though, which helps you feel like you have been there and sortof caught the atmosphere.

Of course it shouldn't be scrapped, it's wonderful and lovely to see all those people watching. Presume was a financial success. Thought the same about 'Fiz' .. every photo she was smiling and looked really bonny; her obligation anyway to show herself as presume was getting paid for it, and she did.

Just thought the theme was a little dull though ..summat to do with Services to the Community ?? (don't think anyone knew this, certainly my colleagues at work didn't) much better when it is themes like Fairy Tales, Famous Books, Space Age, that type of thing, etc. More scope for imagination, colour and costume.
