To close this thread off, not only has Lettie decided which make and model we, (she) wants, but whe have ordered, bought & installed it.

A big thanks to Shillelagh & Bagpuss for the help & advice.

Unfortunately, there is a downside. It is so well engineered, that it doesn't shake, rattle & roll; Lettie won't be seeing any excitement sat astride whilst it is on the spin cycle!
