I dont actually know what foreign aid is but in islam one of the pillars if that they should give to charity regularly.
I feel bad about it for them really as alot of them sign up for those direct debit charities that stop you in blackburn town centre and if I was to be completely honest, there is no way I would ever give to them, especially not with my bank details in the middle of the street.
Most of the muslim girls at college whom I know openly give to charity and always help out with the charity events at college. Its mainly the asians that do the charity work in comparison to the white students.
Didn't a local MP say around the time of Caneze Riaz' death that it is a time for communities to come together and learn rom eachother? Charity was one of the points brought up.
