I prefer to keep them alive as no matter what face they appear to have, the memory of something like that would be good enough torture.
Besides, execution costs money aswell, though maybe people could pay to see them
. Killing them just gives them an easy way out unless of course you believe in heaven and hell, but i wont go into religious beliefs on that...
