Blimey, I used to live there.
Never went to a local game, though. Only got as far as "The Shovels", nearest pub - on Common Edge Road - and not a bad pub at that. Won the quiz occasionally

Could only afford to watch Stanley in those days, because it was halfway between Blackpool and Halifax. Probably still is.
