Would it not be a good idea if all the media reporters and cameramen and the paperatzi and all the underemployed MP's rolled up their sleeves donned wellington boots and helped these poor souls to clear up and restore the homes they cherish?
It makes me cringe that reporters of the likes of Kay Burley enjoy reporting the miseries of the affected families and actually can find it funny so that her report can be put across in a humanitarian way.
Charge the media for their coverage and put the monies generated to a relief fund for the flood victims and charge them plenty.
