It's just as we said earlier in the thread, the only people this is a problem for are people that represent us on the council. All of us would have simply replied that we were from the relevant town within the borough.

A polite Mayor would have answered "Hyndburn, which emcompasses Accrington, Oswaldtwistle, blah, blah" but no, he has to wait for the pregnant pause waiting for the, no doubt embarrassed, Duke to enquire "Where?", much to Mr. Dobson's delight I am sure, so that he can report back to Mr. Britcliffe, and then, in turn, would have immediately rung the Observer !
I'm sure the Duke will have gone on to ask a little more about us ... but oh no ! that does not suit Mr. Dobson to tell us.
Re. the University Challenge question, the Observer states that the students were asked where the Haworth Art Gallery was .. not the case, think the question was where is the Tiffany Glass collection housed. They would have known or not !! Even thought they blanked on the clue Hyndburn, may not have got the answer anyway .. would possibly have said Great Harwood !!
Such clever journalism ... not.
