These are some of the reasons I try to avoid fast food places. However, took the family into a McDonalds last week. Whenever I get a meal, I ask them to give me a shake instead of the soda. It costs an extra 20 cents or so but it is doable.

So, I ask this kid to do that and he gets that "village idiot" look. "We can't do that." Why not I ask. "We just can't do that."(as the sweat forms on his forehead). Well, I say, they've always been able to do it before. "Oh, I better get a manager."

So said Manager comes up, hears my request, shows V.I. Joe

how it's done. These kids are either really rude or just plain robots.
