When growing up in the 90s I always thought this guy was a boring old fart, always looked like that mean next door neighbour that would pop your footy if it hit his plantpots, which really put me off for a long, long time
I've been reading up on him lately and listening to some of his early blues stuff aswell as the hits and, speaking as a guitarist aswell as a fully fledged addict to rock n roll, the guy absolutely blows me away.
For a guy to go through all the terrible things he has gone through and to still be touring the world as one of the greatest musicians ever, it's astounding.
Any Clapton fans out there?
