You'r right cashy she had it to, she used to drink in the Kings Arms when she retired, I believe she had a few husbands, .Arther Mort told me she 'planted' them on top of each other at Pleasington Cemetery. My Grandmother had the Globe Inn on Blackburn Rd, Grandad Tom took it in 1927 she left about 1957 when Mrs Dunn took over. Strange ting about that Mr Dunn fell down cellar steps and died after about 6 years, and my grandad died after 6 years in the same pub, both of them ran it on their own for about 30 years.
