Re: favourite film?

yes the story is far fetched but i think if they'd of made the film any other way it would'nt of been as catching or as thrilling. you tell me what films these days are based on truth in every aspect. end of the day it is just a film, well tis based on truth or far fetched it's still only a film and should just be enjoyed by the watcher instead of being crictisized.

like the film escape from alcatraz with clint eastwood. in the end it shows him escaping but in the real life story he drowned.

what about titanic? instead of showing all the truth they based it around a love story and glorified that. by the end of the film you've already forgotten about the hundreds of peopel that were left to die because the men working on the boats wouldnt open the locks on the doors.

your right in many ways, but end of the day its just a film, enjoy it. i get what you mean about the accent tho. when americans try sounding english it sounds awful. you being scottish probably will notice his twang more.
