I don't want to think about Christmas in August.It doesn't seem like 5 minutes since last Christmas.The word should not be mentioned until at least October.All the rigmarole starts so early these days you're sick of it by the time it arrives.It's also lost all its original meaning and is far too materialistic in my opinion.Christmas is a time when I really feel sorry for anyone who works in a shop and is forced to listen to 'Simply having a wonderful Christmas-time' on a loop from Mid-September onwards
