Re: Lancashire/Yorkshire boundary changes?
There are quite a few towns and villages which have changed counties more than once. Besides Barnoldswick I can think of Todmorden and Gisburn.
When you had to be born in the county to play cricket for them, you'd hear tales of womem dragging themselves over their chosen border, whilst in the latter stages of pregnancy, just so their offspring would be eligible for a particular county, though I don't know how true it is.
