Good advice.Luckily I had heard about these fake emails...another worry lol,so I didn't just take it from the email in case the email was not genuine.If ebay have sent you a genuine message then it will be in your 'my messages' section under 'my ebay'.In my case that's where I found the information that my account had been hacked into so the message was genuine in this instance
If you receive an email claiming to be from ebay and it doesn't also appear in your 'my ebay' section then you know it's a fake email.
