Sorry, Oggy. Not sure that stating a fact is "reinventing history". Yes, the squad was down to bare bones for that game - but those circumstances seemed to me an ideal opportunity to give a couple of youngsters a chance. They could have done no worse. And the number of yellow cards increased rapidly through the game as players' frustration increased. The straight red for Mangan has been discussed ad nauseam - but how calamitous it would have been to lose another player through two yellows. I still feel it would have been wise to use substitutes in that game.
