Ok, I'll admit to scrumping, but most kids I knew did it. Never nicked anything off trees except crab apples though, so it's not like I ruined anybodys prize plums. Had a nasty experience with a Doberman when I accidentally fell out of a tree into somebodys garden and damn near landed on the dog. This was in Leicester while visiting relatives, if you're going to be bad do it where nobody knows you......
