My friends do it all the time-even the ones i consider to be fairly good parents in all other aspects.

I once had a friend stay at mine with her very young baby-she made the bottles and whilst they were still boiling hot put them in the fridge(!),then when she wanted them,put them in the microwave (whilst i cringed n bit my tongue),then gave it straight to the baby-but not the first time cos i said my MW may be a diff wattage to your own so test it....so she did.......by dipping her finger in the milk

That’s a people problem not a microwave problem.

A bit like blaming the car when someone knocks someone down.
