just remembered used to be a place down clayton (bottom end) somewhere Trelfalls, you could hire an hoss n cart for the day for 10 bob, was very useful when they demolished the flat-roofed milnshaw estate,you could get a fair few copper back-boilers on one of them carts.

or so i was told pmsl

that would be some time mid 60s i think.
