Gum

Scientists Solve Sticky Problem Of Chewing Gum - Yahoo! News UK

Considering the mess it makes this seems like a good idea. The cost of removing is high yet there is nothing stopping people just spitting it out anyway. Me personally I wrap it up and bin it so that it dosnt make a mess on the pavement or in the bins. I do have a few questions though;

Will it really taste as good?

Will it be priced to match the present market leaders?

If it dosnt rain will the council wait for the rain or go and "water" it?

Does "has the potential to be environmentally degradable." really mean that?

Would it be popular amongst those that enjoy regular mastication of gum?

Seems to me that tis is a gimmick or am I being a tad harsh?
