Yes I remember it quite well. I was in the 4th year at the Grammar School.
I attended the game in Stockport in 1955 and on the way back I jumped off the coach in Bury to go and watch Bury play Bristol Rovers at Gigg Lane. After the game I hitched a lift back to ACCrington.

I lived in Barnes ST next door to a chipshop but the house does not exist at all now.
