Oh sorry I misunderstood. I thought you'd sounded disappointed. If we'd been there I probably would have stayed inside, not because I'd have been avoiding the smokers, I would just have preferred to be in the warm I think.

Even before the smoking ban there have been meets where people at one table haven't spoken to people at another table all night, purely down to location. I remember one time when we were sort of sitting behind other people's backs and all the chat was in the opposite direction. Had to keep straining me lugs and trying to lip read.
