My idea of the perfect pub is the Cheap And Cheerfull in Benidorm, and my wife and I living within spitting distance of it, Pub's in this country are finished.
There is no chance of getting people to give up smoking or anything they do not wish to. Other than that put the clock's back 30 years when pubs were pubs , am I right Cashy?
