It's our Harvest Festival this weekend, well at least in our village. My daughter and the Brownies, including granddaughter, are on Church Parade on Sunday so let's hope it doesn't pour with rain (it's delugeing at the moment). I don't know if it is available in the UK, but you can buy cans of prepared pumpkin pie filling. Not quite the same as making your own; but in a pinch, it does the job. Put lots of whipped cream or ice cream on top.
Being fortunate enough to live in Canada or England or the US, we have lots to be thankful for. We are free and prosperous. Most of the rest of the world is not so lucky.
