Germany is hardly a warmer climate. I suppose my interest began when I visited Germany in my teens to stay with a pen pal. I loved some of the music and the bands, especially The Lords. (The one nicknamed Gandy who real name was Rainer Petry in particular.) My pen pal introduced me to some of her favourites and would send me tapes of the show 'Hitparade' and a magazine called 'Bravo'. She ended upliking people like the BeeGees and I got more interested in the likes of Michel Polnaref, Adamo, Ricky Shayne.........
