I hope so magpie, I hope so.
The first year of bluebells may not be so nice but they, like all bulbs, split and multiply so after say a couple of years you could have a nice carpet of blue. I’ve planted mine about 3 inches apart so the display could be quite nice.
My only worry is the Taleban. Are they going to come round demanding protection money because I’m growing opium poppies?
Will I have to call in the British army to protect me?
What if that three legged squirrel turns out to be a suicide bomber?
Is that feral Tomcat an Al Qaeda agent?
Whose side are the magpies on?
Where do the pigeons come in? Maybe they are secret messengers?
Yikeees! My garden could be a war zone next summer.
