i'm near sure that is/was the australian wyn, the son of the last landlady,who by the way is still batting, lives down church,saw him in the "stag" when one of the meets was on,also saw him a couple of years ago down king st, at the rocknroll,night, was reminsing about how we used to play footy on the carpark after school n his dad always gave us a gill/pint in the kitchen after.
and kate i'm near certain the green n cream blackburn buses used it also.
p.s. wyn i think it may have closed about 63/64, but was then stood empty for a few years before demolishion. could be wrong but thats were i'd put me money if i had too.
