It just means you`ve cast aside the vagaries of fashion and are listening to the music. I couldn`t stand Morrisey when I was younger, but it was all down to how he looked and the kind of people who worshipped him. Looking back now there were some great tunes and lyrics, even if his singing style is an aquired taste. In my record collection I proudly sport a bit of Matt Monroe and George Formby, basically cos I like them. Nowt wrong with that.
