I’ve just received an email from SOS web site that reads:

Dear James,
On behalf of everyone here at Support Our Soldiers we'd like to thank you very much indeed for your kind donation towards the Xmas Parcel Appeal.

The parcels this year will be sent to our lads and lassies serving in Iraq, Afghanistan and on other overseas operations, and your contribution will, we know, be much appreciated by them.

All donations are logged on the website together with details of progress to date so please do take a look and see how we're getting on.

We'd also like to ask you to consider Gift Aiding your donation. If you are a UK tax payer then you can use Gift Aid to make your donation go further by telling HM Revenue & Customs to add tax already paid to your donation.

This doesn't cost you anything more, but could mean an extra 28p for each pound you give, making a huge difference to us!
