Ear syringing is carried out at our surgery by the practice nurse, not the doctor himself. It's the nurse who is booked up for the next 3 weeks. I agree though, it is a long time to wait. She's not in agony,good job too, it's just uncomfortable and annoying because her ear is whistling and she can't hear conversations properly. Otherwise we probably would have to go to casualty because bad earache makes life a misery and I don't think she could tolerate that for 3 weeks.
