The children's squeels and laughter as they play out on my street, the ducks quacking on the lodge that backs my house, the splashing of the coot as he dives down for food with the bubbles rising above him, then the splash as he emerges on the surface; a carp has just decided to leave the safety of the dark waters and ripples the surface as he dives back to its lair. The sound of the leaves rustling in the breeze and the autumnal waste they are shedding that gently drift to the ground.
The teenagers passing by my window in their refinery, giggling and chatting at the expectancy of an exciting encounter. The toot of a taxi announcing its arrival to take neighbours out to a glamourous meal. My daughter's dulcet tones as she rings to tell me she loves me; the gentle text tone that brings up the message from my son to tell me he is attending a black tie dinner and how much he is looking forward to the new people he will meet.
Ok .. I am not poetic, but don't need any man electronic thumps and bumps tonight; natural music is so much more satisfying ..
