Don't know if this thread has been done before. How did you come to choose your particular nickname? Some names are self explanatory, others less so.

I came by this name due to a state of blind panic and my dog lol. When I was new to computers/internet, I decided to join my first forum. Whilst registering I was asked for a nickname. For some totally unknow reason I got it into my head that I was under a time limit to register. I looked at the dog, who was a pup in those days, we kept calling him a Bonny Boy. That's how I came by my nickname...How about you?
