Re: D’Sane Comes Of Age As Stanley’s Defence Is Severely Tested

We all have our own view on what we regard as good sportsmanship. I am not bothered about any 'antics' from Macclesfield. I come to watch Stanley. I felt that D'Sane was taking 'the ****' in the way that he scored. In victory you should be magnanimous. I make two points.
[1] Clearly Macclesfield were upset in the manner of the goal. It may have made them try even harder to score and had they done so, it would have cost us two points.
[2] When we go to Macclesfield, this goal will still be in their memory. They will want revenge perhaps more than normal. D'Sane may have made a hard game more difficult.
However, on a positive note. The ensuing disquite amongst the Macclesfield team disrupted their onslaught on Dunbavin as they lost their rythmn for a while.
