Crowds were
down 867 and 1220 on corresponding figure last season, figures do not lie, but it depends which figures you pick.
Macclesfield good, Wrexham bad. On the whole I don't like Friday night games, but the thing that filled me with dread was Stanley tried it,
with some success, in 1958.
