I am an old resident of Accrington as a boy in the 1940's. We (parents, two sisters) lived in Carter Street where we had a grocer's shop- then in St James St (No 22?)
I was educated at Oswaldtwistle -and Edge End when we lived in Nelson before Accrington.
Migrated to Australia in 1951. My name is Trevor Cowell- anyone there remembers?
