I first pricked my ears up last Thursday (25th) evening at 10.00pm whilst sort of listening to Mark Lammar’s Shake, Rattle and Roll on Radio 2 when I heard some boogie woogie piano playing that was second to none.

I have had to wait until today to use the ‘listen again’ facility to trace this amazing piano player.

It turned out that the artist was Frank ‘Sugar Chile’ Robinson a 7 years old child prodigy now aged 69.

The played track called Wop Wop came from the CD Go Boy Go 1949 –1952 available on Amazon for less than ten quid all in. My order has gone in.
