I used to pay for subscription channels - now I just watch the free ones - enough for me. I have freeview as a backup because my Sky signal fails fairly often due to rain, snow, and trees (when in full leaf)
That is one good reason why I will never consider having Sky broadband - too much at the mercy of the elements
