Don't think a small amount of salt whilst cooking does any harm .. mum always used to tell me brought out the flavour. Yuk, can you imagine boiled potatoes not cooked without salt ? |
I don't need to imagine them - that's how I make them.
Thing is, and I know Mother's are always right, but on this one I think your Mum's wrong!
If you don't add salt you can actually taste the food itself.
