no, the reason is simple.
Ebbsfleet will now see a large increase in its commercial sponsorship value, merchandise sales, matchday corporate opportunities, TV and newspaper interest. All of these on top of the £700k initial investment
should guarantee that the idea will appear to have been fruitfull.
If all the Supporters here put in £35 it would have the effect of 3 extra home games, ie a half decent cup run in a standard comptetition. That would apply to any club and would therefore not have any impact on the finances of the club.
If it could be proved that it was only the intelligence input of the members that had effected the upturn in fortunes then fair enough, but it won't be - it will be the money only that has any sort of input.
