Re: vs Rotherham

So Coleman states his obvious desire to turn the F.E.S. into a "fortress" in the Observer, talk of reaching the play-offs from certain players??? The phrase " Delusions of Grandeur" springs to mind.

Totally abject performance today. Team selection and tactics played- once again mind boggling. The formation played today MAY work when we play away with the right personnel. But if we keep playing the same predictable formation at home it's no wonder so many sides are leaving with the points.

I can only assume that Webb was away on International duty this weekend and that Richardson was injured / suspended?? Boco certainly isn't the man to perform the role he was asked to play today.

I only hope that Coleman sits down and watches the video of that display and can pick out what went wrong today.Certain individuals are plainly not up to the task of what is required. Basic fundemental mistakes are costing us week in,week out. The number of times we lost possesion today was unreal.Instead of picking out the simple ball / pass, too many players gave the ball away cheaply.

Apparently Coleman has said that if certain players aren't up to what is being asked of them, he'll find replacements.Well, actions speak louder than words Coley. Wield the axe, cut out the "dead wood", work on the basics in training (i.e. how to defend and keep possesion) and work on the tactical side of things, ala team selection and formations, substitutions etc. Otherwise the more realistic end of season scenario will involve another "relegation dogfight".
