I'm not sure what view you had of the incident TM, however, from the angle I had (behind Clayton End goal) the Ref was I'm afraid right on this occasion, the first attempt by Evil to win the ball from the keeper was fair enough as said keeper did not have control of the ball, but when Evil turned round to come back up field he put his foot in again, this time the keeper had both hands on the ball............granted He didn't make contact but the Ref saw it as intent and was (in Law) correct to caution Him.
As for the rest of the Ref's display today, I entirely agree.........should have been at least 1 booking in the first 5 Min's for a Rotherham player (deliberate Handball), if not 2........foot up/studs showing on Proccy.......but I guess that set the tone for His dismal performance today
