Oops, sometimes I forget the language barrier

A panner is a panhandler or beggar. A loonie is a one dollar coin, and a toonie a two dollar coin. The loonie is so called because on the back of the coin is a loon. And the toonie? God knows how it got its name. It has the Queen's head on the front and a polar bear on the back .... it's known as the Queen with a bare behind
