Re: Your best friend
I met my best friend when we were both 4 and started at St Marys school. We're both 64 now. We went through primary school together, then to Paddock House, and I used to go to her house for lunch from school so her mum and dad were like 2nd parents to me. My mum taught her how to iron a shirt!
When I got married she was my bridesmaid. When she got married I was her matron of honour. She's my eldest child's godmother.
We don't see each other a lot but we keep in touch and, when we do meet, it's like we last met yesterday.
