But we have no legitimate authority to go and steal other peoples oil to maintain our unsustainable economies.
If we want to continue with the power consumption we do then we have to find other ways of obtaining that power or have a change of lifestyle, because what happens when the Iraqi oil runs out? Do we go and invade Russia?
Technology in the light of environmental renewable sources of energy, is not great enough for us to wholly rely on it, hence our still major reliance on oil. We can't just sit around and wait for technology to fix our problems, because what if its not developed in time?
We need to build nuclear plants and secure our futures, and our childrens futures as nuclear provides a solid plan for which we know the outcome, sustainable power. War isn't the answer to our needs.
