I think 'apathy' plays a big part in our interest, or lack of it, we live in a society that disagrees with most local and national government policies, but, our selfish concern with our immediate surroundings, (most of it materialistic), outweigh our concern, enough that we do not do anything about it, even if people were not so apathetic, finding the truth in a political agenda would be difficult, if not impossible, and the media want to sell headlines, not truths!
