Re: Adult Flexi Ticket
Personally, I buy a season ticket as a way of showing support to the club. As I usually miss one or two matches through holidays, I probably lose out on it, but I don't mind. I think the new flexi-ticket is a great idea and a sign that the club is showing a bit more initiative in promotion and marketing. Yes, they could have extended the half-price shirt deal to us existing season ticket holders and I hope maybe they'll consider it in the light of comments on here, but I don't think that should overshadow an otherwise excellent move by the club. What concerns me far more are the instances of inefficiency which have been highlighted on here by posts about merchandise, programmes etc ordered and not received and emails unanswered. In particular Tin Monkey's experience of handing his bank details over for the Stanley Legends and then hearing nothing. As a born optimist, I would like to think that the introduction of the flexi-tickets marks a more professional approach at the club!
