this is a great move by the club to attract new interest in the club and they should be commended. many people on here are quick to slate the club on missed opportunities. how can they win when any new moves to attract support are also slated by selfish supporters who's primary concern seems to be their own pockets?

i dont care how people choose to show their support. not everyone can make every game so a season ticket is not a viable option. this offer gives such fans opportunity to be rewarded for their commitment in the same way that season ticket holders get an annual saving for their commitment.

The holding of a season ticket does not make the holder any more important than a fan without one, nor does it entitle the holder the right to claim it unfair if future offers exclude them. you knew what you were getting when you bought your season tickets. nothing has changed the value of your tickets.

If you wish to take a chance next season and wait for the christmas offer then do so - but there is no need to post it on here as a moral stand. it is this sort of elitism that will turn new readers of this forum away from the club.
No-one on here has said that season ticket holders are more important than fans who pay on the gate week in-week out & everyone as far as I can see supports the new flexi ticket as a good step forward.
The point is it's not the first time something like this has happened, last season it was letting under 12's in for free half way through the season after some of us had already bought our kids' season tickets - I think what most of us are saying is that a bit more forethought from the club would be appreciated.
