Hi, as probably a lot of people from Accrington, I have "sort of" connections with Rio de Jan, all because of the famouse HOWARD AND BULLOUGHS which used to be here in Accrington. My granny's brother in law went out there in the early 1920's as an outfitter and then, when he thought the time was right, sent for his wife and 2 kids. The two girls still live out there to this day, one unmarried and one married to a South American guy.
I have a beautiful tray on the wall in this very room my computer is in, which came from Rio de Jan
